What is Oxygen Therapy?

Oxygen Therapy is a treatment which many people believe enhances the body’s natural healing process. The air that we breathe usually contains about 21% Oxygen, enough for both normal body metabolism and to repair tissue damage after injury or illness. In our state of the art double baro chamber, you can breathe 100% oxygen through a mask in a pressurised atmosphere.

This helps to increase the availability of oxygen to the body for the restoration of function to damaged cells. Extra oxygen is believed to have the additional benefits of enhancing the ability to kill bacteria and coupled with the pressure reduce swelling.

Oxygen therapy is a simple, non-invasive and painless treatment delivered on a small group basis which most people find comfortable and relaxing. You will be treated in a secure and comfortable purpose built chamber with two fully trained operators present and many use the time in the chamber to read, catch up with work or spend time on social media!
